On the 12th and 13th October, Dovecote Park hosted our annual Macmillan coffee morning in the restaurant at our Stapleton site. Many of our staff baked cakes and other goods for this years event, which included a ‘how tall is the cake’ game, and a raffle - won this year by Lewis Jones (Engineering)

The total amount raised through raffle tickets and cake sales was £607.48 – which Dovecote will raise to a round £1000, a substantial donation for a charity whom we are proud to support. Macmillan provide financial, emotional and medical support for those with cancer throughout the country. Their Coffee Morning campaign began in 1990, and has to date raised over £160 million for cancer support.

We are delighted to have participated in this once again, and to have raised such an impressive figure  - thanks to all who attended and baked cakes for this years event, and of course to Emma and Alison in Accounts for all their hard work in organising!
