We are thrilled to announce that our fabulous Training Officer Katie, has won Apprentice of the Year at East Riding College.  Completing her Business Administration course with 2 distinctions and a pass, Katie's hard work and dedication over the past 18 months has been recognised by her tutors who selected her ahead of over 300 other students on the course.

In their feedback, Katie's confidence, interpersonal skills and flexibility to achieve task were identified as key highlights by her tutors.  They were impressed with her ability to try alternative approaches when dealing with colleagues across various departments, as well as her perseverance to ensure training was completed to the highest standard.  Alongside the voucher prize from college, the Dovecote Management team and owners have also been impressed with our fabulous Katie, presenting her with a bouquet of flowers and a voucher for a celebratory meal.

At Dovecote Park we offer a wide range of training opportunities, with colleagues already working hard towards their Engineering and Supervisor/Team Leader apprenticeships.  There is also our Butchery Traineeship which is a great opportunity for new starters to learn this traditional skill.

Katie is a great example of what is possible whilst working at Dovecote Park, and she would like to take this opportunity to thank the business and the wider training team for their support.  Not content with this apprenticeship, Katie would love to continue her learning and development as she progresses her career at Dovecote Park - perhaps more awards await!!
